Albion and Bixby and the Big Truth Book 2

Together Time Series

$12.95

Albion and Bixby and the Big Truth is a warm, faith‑based children’s story created for parents and children to read together. Designed as parent‑child reading material, this book encourages togetherness, meaningful family conversations, and faith‑building moments that help children connect everyday experiences with timeless biblical truths.

Part of the Albion and Bixby Together Time Series, this story follows two brothers as they face a simple but important challenge on their family farm. When a small mistake leads to a big temptation—choosing whether to tell the truth or hide it—Albion and Bixby learn how honesty, courage, forgiveness, and God’s guidance help families grow stronger. Through their experience, children see how telling the truth builds trust, restores relationships, and brings peace to the heart.

Each book in the series includes simple discussion questions that help parents and children talk about the story, explore its meaning, and apply its lessons to real life, strengthening understanding and deepening family bonds.

There are presently five books in the series (with more on the drawing board), each centered on a specific character‑building focus. In this book, the focus is on Telling the Truth, gently showing children why honesty matters and how God cares about the choices we make. In later books, families will also be introduced to deeper truths, including God’s love, His care for each person, and His promise of salvation.

A parent can expect to spend about 10-15 minutes reading this book with their child in one sitting. Discussions will naturally expand your time together.

The story is written as a read‑aloud picture book, perfect for preschool and early elementary children. Vocabulary, sentence length, and pacing are well‑suited for ages 4-6, with parents guiding the reading. Children ages 6-8 can engage more deeply with the story themes, discussion questions, and faith lessons. The focus on honesty, forgiveness, and family life aligns strongly with developmental and emotional learning at these ages.
