BB and CC July Vacation
BB and CC The Vacation Girls
$14.95
In BB and CC May Vacation, the sisters arrive in New York City full of excitement and wonder, eager to explore the sights of the Big Apple. From the moment they see the skyline and the Statue of Liberty, they sense that this trip will be special. As Memorial Day weekend unfolds, BB and CC begin to understand that their vacation is about more than fun adventures. It becomes a journey of learning about freedom, sacrifice, courage, gratitude, and faith. In Central Park, rows of American flags help the girls reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day and the importance of honoring those who gave their lives for the country. Their visit to the Statue of Liberty teaches them that courage means standing tall for what is right, even when it is hard. At the September 11 Memorial, the sisters learn how remembrance honors both loss and heroism, and they see how kindness and unity shine in times of sorrow. During the city’s Memorial Day Parade, BB and CC witness gratitude in action as veterans and service members are honored. Later, by the harbor at night, they reflect on how children can also live out bravery and thankfulness through everyday acts of kindness and service. On Sunday, the family worships at historic Trinity Church, where the girls are reminded that God is present in every place and every generation. Throughout the story, BB and CC grow in understanding as they connect what they see in New York with biblical truths about freedom, courage, compassion, and worship. By the end of their May vacation, the sisters leave New York not only with happy memories, but also with hearts changed by deeper gratitude for God, for others, and for the blessings of freedom.
